Windsor District RCMP Make Arrest in Bank Robbery Case

Windsor District RCMP have arrested and charged a 36-year-old Windsor man for a bank robbery that occurred in Hantsport on March 30, 2016.

Leif Spilchen was arrested without incident on Thursday in Windsor and held in custody to appear in Windsor Provincial Court on April 4, 2016. Spilchen is facing the following charges related to this incident including:

– Robbery With a Firearm

– Disguised With Intent

– Fail to Comply with Court Order

The RCMP would like to thank all citizens who provided information to the police during this investigation.
