Windsor Street & North Street – Sidewalk Repairs

Monday, June 22, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that the traffic lights at the intersection of Windsor and North streets in Halifax will be shut off today and periodically this week as crews carry out repairs to the sidewalks in the area.

This work began at about 9 a.m. today and is expected to continue until Friday, June 26. Crews will wrap up each day at about 4 p.m. and the traffic lights will be turned back on. Traffic control personnel are on site directing vehicles while the lights are off.

Motorists should expect some delays and are advised to avoid the area, if possible. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this work may cause.
