The winter months here in Canada can be quite harsh. And although we love it here, sometimes it is nice to get away to a warmer climate. What better way to get through this time of year than with a winter escape?

Susan and I are headed to Florida on Friday for our first vacation together since our honeymoon, almost four years ago. For those of you who might not be able to take off to a warmer part of the world this winter, don’t fret because we’re taking you with us!*

While we’re away we will be blogging about how to travel without emptying your bank account, as well as all the fun things to do that we come across. Travelling doesn’t have to throw you into debt, so hopefully we can share a few tips (and you can share yours too) that help you travel for cheap. We’re excited to find new things to do that we don’t have here in Halifax.
