Woman awoken, footprints in the grass but no other details

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a suspicious incident which
took place Wednesday morning in Halifax.

Officers were called to the 6000 block of Shirley Street at 8:41 a.m.,
after a female resident reported being woken up between 4 and 5 a.m. and
hearing movement outside her bedroom window. She looked out the window
but didn’t see anyone however there were footprints in the grass
indicating that someone had been there. There is no description at this
time and investigator could not fine any indication the individual
attempted to gain entrance into her residence.

Halifax Regional Police continues to remind citizens to be vigilant
about keeping their residences secure and to call police immediately if
an incident occurs or they observe something suspicious.
