Woman extricated from car after accident

At 2:07 pm Halifax Regional Police East responded to a car accident where the vehicle had flipped on Prince Albert Road near Portland Street.  Officers located a Nissan which had struck a sign post and then flipped ending up on the drivers side. The female driver had to be extricated by HRM Fire. She was transported to Hospital with non life threatening injuries. The file is still under investigation.
