Woman faces charges after tobacco seizure, Indian Brook, N.S.

An Indian Brook resident is facing charges after a search involving illegal tobacco.

This morning at 10:10 a.m., RCMP officers, as well as investigators from Service Nova Scotia Compliance and Special Investigations, executed a search warrant at a convenience store on Hollywood Drive. Police seized 127 cartons of un-stamped tobacco.

A 33-year-old female is facing charges and will be appearing in Shubenacadie Provincial Court on January 6th, 2014. The matter remains under investigation and further charges are pending.
