Woman tries to rob Dartmouth Needs store

At 1:15 am members responded to the Needs Convenience store at 303 Prince Albert Rd. to a report of a robbery.

A female was said to have entered the store claiming to possess a hand gun.  She threatened to shoot the two employees while demanding money.  She left the store empty handed and was arrested within minutes nearby without incident.  She was found to not have any weapons.  The employees were uninjured.
 
Police have charged a 28 year old Halifax female with robbery and uttering death threats X2.  She is being held in police custody and will have a bail hearing later this morning.
