Woodside Mini Mart robbed, cops looking for suspect

From HRPD: At 8 pm,  patrol officers responded to hold-up alarm at the Woodside Mini Mart, 553 Pleasant Street in Dartmouth.

At 8 pm,  patrol officers responded to hold-up alarm at the Woodside Mini Mart, 553 Pleasant Street in Dartmouth.

Upon arrival on scene it was learned that the male clerk working at the counter was approached by the suspect who held a knife at the clerk and demanded cash. The suspect after obtaining a quantity of cash and cigarettes fled the area. No one was injured in the incident. Patrol Officer and K-9 attempted to locate the suspect with no success.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing a mask described as a Halloween Style Scream Mask. He was also wearing a blue Nike Hoddie, yellow work boots and baggy jeans. He was carry an ECCO brand back-pack. The suspect was wearing one glove. There are no further descriptors at this time.
