Wordless Wednesday: Have You Seen the Aga Khan Museum?

As you drive along the DVP here in Toronto, and if you are near Eglington Ave you can not help but notice the construction of Toronto’s latest museum: The Aga Khan Museum.

Construction has been going on for some time now and the museum will open later this year.

This beautiful new Museum will gather some of the best of the Islamic Arts. Rarely here in Toronto have we been able to enjoy such artifacts. I am excited about this museum being part of the rich cultural life of Toronto. I am excited about what it will bring and what we will be able to learn within its walls: to see the artifacts, and to see all the different forms of Islamic Art at it’s finest.

But right now I have been following their social media feed on Facebook and I wanted to share just a glimpse of the beauty that is apart of the architecture.
