An independent Nova Scotia human rights board of inquiry in the case of Y.Z. v. Halifax Regional Municipality is scheduled to resume Monday, June 13.

An identity publication ban has been issued by the board chair to protect the complainant’s identity. The complainant alleges racial discrimination by the employer, Halifax Regional Municipality.

The board of inquiry will begin at 9:30 a.m., at the Holiday Inn Harbourview, 101 Wyse Rd., Dartmouth.

The board chair is Lynn Connors, who is independent of the commission. The commission is representing the public interest.
