You Stayed Home 2008: HRM Voter Turnout Disappointing

And you thought voter participation for the Federal Election was bad.  Paul Mcleod over at Metro Halifax brings us the sobering news that voter turnout for the Halifax Municipal elections was at a disappointing 38.4%, down from 48% in 2004.  It’s no wonder that so many citizen action groups are springing up.
