Youth arrested following incident involving knife – Fall River

At 12:19 p.m. on Monday, Halifax Distirct RCMP responded to an assault involving a knife in a wooded area on Lockview Rd. in Fall River.

As a result of the investigation, a 15-year-old male was taken in to custody following an altercation where a 15-year-old male was assaulted with a knife. The victim was later released from hospital after being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The accused male was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to answer to the following charges:

  • Aggravated Assault
  • Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
  • Extortion
  • Uttering Threats
  • Robbery

The investigation is continuing.
