On Friday August 19, 2016 at approximately 7:32p.m., members of the East Quick Response Unit and West Quick Response Unit arrested a 15 year old male in the 0-50 block of Joseph Young Street in Dartmouth. The 15 year old male was observed by officers removing on what officers believed was a sawed off .22 rifle from the trunk of a vehicle and shove the rifle down his pants (the rifle was later determined to be an imitation of a .22 rifle and was a pellet gun). The 15 year old male will be appearing in Youth Court on Monday Morning August 22, 2016 to face charges of Possession of a Weapon Dangerous, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Breach of Court Orders.
