The HRP/RCMP Integrated Internet Child Exploitation(ICE) Unit has charged a youth after a child pornography investigation in Cole Harbour

On January 9, 2014, RCMP responded to an incident that occurred at Auburn Drive High School.

A complaint was received that a student had distributed images to other students. Police seized several cell phones. The matter was turned over to the ICE Unit for investigation.

A 17-year-old male is facing two Criminal Code charges including Possessing and Distributing Child Pornography. On April 11th, he was released from police custody and will be appearing in Halifax Provincial Youth Court on May 8th.
