At 8:22 p.m. Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of gun shots in the area of Nova Court, Dartmouth.

Upon arrival officers located what is believed to bullet casings on the
roadway and several impacts from bullets were located in four residences
located on Nova Court, Canso Lane, Demetreous Lane and Green Rd.
No injuries resulted. HRP’s Forensic Identification Unit and the
HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigative Section were called in to assist.

The suspects are described as 2 black males in their 20’s whom fled the
area in a silver SUV style vehicle driven by a female. A short time
later a similar vehicle was located in the Cole Harbour area by HRP’s
Quick Response Unit, a female was arrested and the vehicle was seized.
Halifax Regional Police are still holding the scene for further forensic
examination and the matter remains under investigation.

A 25 year old female is being held in custody to appear in Dartmouth
Provincial Court later today charged with accessory after the fact to
attempted murder and discharging a firearm, possession of a firearm in a
vehicle and two counts of breaching a conditional sentence.
