Tuesday, June 8, 2010 Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), N.S…. Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Halifax District responded to a house fire on West Porters Lake Road last evening to assist with traffic control with HRM Fire Services.

Once the fire was extinguished HRM Fire Services and RCMP observed marihuana seedlings in a detached shed next to the house.  RCMP seized 157 marihuana seedlings from the property.  A 51-year-old male will be facing charges Cultivation of Marihuana.
