Oct 23rd  – At 8:37 PM members of the Halifax Regional Police responded to a motor vehicle collision that occurred near 21 Main Ave. in Halifax. 

Information had been received that a truck had struck a concrete barrier at a parking lot and then fled the scene towards Evans Ave. The responding officers proceeded to Evans Ave and located the vehicle – a Ford F150 truck – which had now been driven into a residence located at 17 Evans Ave resulting in minor structural damage to the home as well as damage to a motorcycle parked outside the residence. The occupant(s) of the vehicle had fled the scene prior to police arrival and the matter remains under investigation at this time. It was determined that the vehicle in question had been stolen on the 23rd from the Truro area. No one was injured at the home as a result of the accident.
