Annual Hike for Hospice

Hospice Halifax is having its annual Hike for Hospice event on May 6th, 2018. This year’s fundraising goal is $50,000 which will go towards the development of Halifax’s first residential hospice.

Hike for Hospice Palliative Care is a unique national fundraising event held across Canada that brings together organizations working collectively in hospice palliative care to raise funds and awareness in their community!

The Hike will follow a 5.2 kilometre return route from the Emera building, Lower Water Street, Halifax to the site of the new residential hospice at 618 Francklyn street. After, hikers will gather at the Emera building for tasty barbeque, cake and continued entertainment.

Registration is $100 per team (the registration fee is waived when teams collect $400 or more in pledges) and includes T-shirts and barbecue for team members.
