At Home Edamame & Miso Soup

One of my favourite comfort soups is Miso!  There’s something so soooooothing about the broth and I couldn’t get off my brain a while ago, so I decided to give this a try that I found at the grocery store (stays refrigerated):IMG_7515IMG_7514It was easy peasy and comes with three separate servings.  You just add the contents to the bowl and add hot water and voila:IMG_7516IMG_7517

Served up with some steamed edamame with sea salt was the perfect and balanced lunch:

IMG_7520The only “con” to any packaged soup is the sodium content.  It was a “little” high, but I’m not sure if that would be the case with any miso soup with soybean paste?  I should look into that.

Speaking of Miso soup, I’m thinking that some Halifax girls should get together for a Doraku GTG.  I would love love love their sweet potato rolls and they make the BEST Miso soup too :-)

Oh and speaking of GTG, guess who’s coming to visit Halifax this weekend?! We are planning a blogger GTG on Sunday at The Wooden Monkey and I’m soooo excited to get to meet Balance Susan!  If any of you are interested in joining us, please shoot me, Lynn or Susan an email and we’ll add your name to our reservation :-)
