Video: Barrington Street Retailers Unite

In the second part of a special series, Ashley King takes a look at the decline of one of Halifax’s busiest business districts.

Rather than talking about the ‘vision’ or the ‘belief’ or wait for the results of another survey on ailing Barrington Street, some local retailers are starting a group that aims to be proactive in trying to create more foot traffic. Welcome to the ‘Real Barrington Street’. We talk to one of the group’s founders, Erika LeBlanc, manager of Just Us! Coffee House. If you are a local business owner operating Downtown and want to get involved, contact contact Erika at Just Us! (902) 422-5651 or Joanna Macrea at The Hub Halifax (902) 482-4729.

Be sure to check out part one of the series, here.
