BBQ Pizza & A Product Review

Evening Bloggies.  Oh.What.A.Monday.Tuesday.  It’s hard going back to work after a long weekend.  None the less, I survived.  Caffeine was this gal’s best friend though!  How was your day?  Do you struggle after having a few days off or do you come back fresh and ready to take on the world?

After seeing Miranda make pizza on her BBQ I knew that I had to try it!

The skies were looking a little grey when I got home from work but I ignored them and started the barbeque any way.  Placed the pizza stone on the grill as soon it was lit so that the stone could heat up gradually.

Prepped the pizza in a flash – store bought crust, spicy geona salami, green peppers, onions & mozza cheese.

One the grill was heated up, I turned the burners down between medium & low.  It was slowing starting to rain at this point.

After about 10 mins I checked and the pizza was all cooked.  The bottom was a little *ehem* crisper than usual. Next time I BBQ pizza, I’m going to turn it down to low and let it cook longer.

But, oh YUM!    Tasted so good!  There really was a huge difference compared to baking in the oven.

Have you made pizza on the BBQ before, what did you think?

I mentioned in my last post that I had a product review coming up…

America’s Nutrition contacted me several weeks ago and asked if I’d like to pick a couple of products from their site to review.  I noticed they had a Bath & Beauty section that was full of natural, organic products, so I requested to review the JASON Vitamin E Shampoo & JASON Apricot Conditioner.

JASON has strived to produce only pure, carefully balanced products that contain the highest quality, naturally sourced ingredients, known to be skin compatible and proven effective. Our products contain the finest food-grade, natural, organic and nutritional ingredients that deliver topical benefits to the hair and skin.

After reading Master Your Metabolism last year I switched over to glass containers,  natural soaps and green cleaning products and but never changed my shampoo/conditioner.

I started using the JASON products earlier this week.  So far so good!

One thing I have noticed is that the shampoo doesn’t lather like the chemical laden ones.  Which is okay, still gets my hair clean & shiny!

The Apricot conditioner is AWESOME. Works like a charms and smells amazing!!

Hubby hasn’t tried out the products yet, but I suspect he won’t notice any difference. 😉

I have checked out the prices for JASON products in my local Superstore, they’re a bit more than I’d usually pay, but so is everything else that I buy organic.   Now that I’m on the natural shampoo & conditioner bandwagon I don’t think I’ll be going back.  It just feels better to be using natural products.

Thanks again to America’s Nutrition!

(Please note – American’s Nutrition has provided these Jason products to me free of charge.  In return, I am reviewing them for the blog and providing my honest opinion.  I was not compensated for my time or efforts.)
