Broken down (stolen) car leads to arrests

At 7:45 PM on Saturday, East Division patrol officers checked on a broken down vehicle located near Dartmouth Crossing.

At 7:45 PM on Saturday, East Division patrol officers checked on a broken down vehicle located near Dartmouth Crossing.

The occupants stated that all was in order and a tow truck was enroute. The officers determined that the situation was suspicious in nature, they checked the vehicle on police information systems and determined it to be stolen.

One adult man, two young offender males and two young offender females were taken into custody without incident at the scene. All of the males and one female remain in police custody and will be heading to court in the morning, one female young offender was released and will appear in court at a later date. All will be facing charges of possession of stolen property.
