Bus/Pedestrian Collision

 
Halifax Regional Police is investigating a bus/pedestrian collision that occurred earlier this afternoon in Halifax.
 
At 12:48 p.m., police responded to a bus/pedestrian collision at the intersection of Spring Garden Road and Robie Street. The preliminary investigation indicates a 59-year-old man was struck by a Metro Transit bus while crossing the street in a marked crosswalk. He was taken to hospital by EHS for treatment of injuries that are believed to be non life-threatening.
 
The incident is under investigation.
