Colchester RCMP investigate robbery in Salmon River, Salmon River, N.S.

Colchester RCMP is investigating an armed robbery that occurred last evening in Salmon River.

On Thursday, November 20, 2014 at approximately 9:45 p.m., Colchester District RCMP responded to a report of an armed male at the Needs Convenience store on East Prince Street.

The male threatened the cashier with a knife and left with a small amount of money. No one was injured during the incident. The suspect is described as a white male, roughly 6 feet tall, thin, with light brown facial hair, wearing blue jeans, a blue toque and a blue plaid winter jacket.

RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance for any information related to this matter. Please contact Colchester RCMP Detachment (902) 893 6820 or Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222 8477.
