Colchester RCMP is investigating an armed robbery that occurred last evening in Salmon River. On Thursday, November 20, 2014 at approximately 9:45 p.m., Colchester District RCMP responded to a report of an armed male at the Needs Convenience store on East Prince Street.

On Thursday, November 20, 2014 at approximately 9:45 p.m., Colchester District RCMP responded to a report of an armed male at the Needs Convenience store on East Prince Street.

The male threatened the cashier with a knife and left with a small amount of money. No one was injured during the incident. The suspect is described as a white male, roughly 6 feet tall, thin, with light brown facial hair, wearing blue jeans, a blue toque and a blue plaid winter jacket.
