Drug trafficking charges against man after search of home

On December 8, as part of an ongoing drug investigation, Eskasoni RCMP conducted a raid at a residence on Beach Road in Eskasoni. This operation led to the discovery and confiscation of a considerable quantity of suspected opioid pills, alongside drug paraphernalia, cash, and a firearm. The raid resulted in the arrest of two men at the location.

Glenn Joseph Peck faces charges including two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and five counts of Breaching a Release Order. He is currently held in custody and is scheduled for a court appearance on December 13 in Sydney Provincial Court.

The second individual involved was released without charges.

This ongoing investigation is spearheaded by Eskasoni RCMP, with support from Victoria County district RCMP.
