In case you haven’t noticed, my eats of late have mainly been about three things:
1) Avoiding the oven.
2) Easy to make.
It has been SO humid here this past week. Don’t know what I’d do without a BBQ. Tonight I grilled up up some beef and served with a cold greek pasta salad that I picked up at Superstore.
The real star of the show was fresh, local corn!!!!! Mmm, I’ve been waiting for this all Summer! 🙂
I want to talk about the running for a minute. One of the reasons that I enjoyed our first session so much was that I didn’t wear Mr. Polar. Which meant that I wasn’t constantly looking at our time, calories burnt or my heart rate. I never realized how distracting wearing the HRM was. Obviously it’s a great tool (or I wouldn’t have spent $160 on it) but it’s nice to be free of it and just run and listen to my body sometimes.
It sort of makes me want to experiment and leave the iPod home tonight. I’ve never ran free of electronic devices before.
Do you prefer to run with electronics or without?
