Halifax District RCMP investigates six alcohol-related driving incidents in one night

For the second time in two weeks, Halifax District RCMP is investigating six alcohol related driving incidents in one night.

Last night, members of Halifax District RCMP charged four people for impaired driving and issued two seven-day driving suspensions.

“Six impaired driving-related offences in one night isn’t the highest number we’ve seen in Halifax District but the fact that this has happened twice in two weeks is concerning.” says Cpl. Jennifer Clarke. “People continue to risk their lives and the lives of others by ignoring the risks of impaired driving. This needs to stop.”

If you think someone is driving while impaired, call 911.
