Halifax Regional Police to host bicycle rodeos

bike-safety-smHalifax Regional Police, in partnership with Cyclesmith, is planning numerous Bike Safety Rodeos this spring throughout HRM.

They are designed to educate and test cyclists at the elementary school age. This program concentrates on several vital areas of bicycle safety, including helmet safety, rules of the road, and safe cycling skills.

Children receive Bike Safety Rodeo Certificates upon completion of the skill-testing obstacle course. As well, their names are entered into draws for exciting prizes!
