Today is a very special day; it’s my dad’s 50th birthday.
Now, the way my family works is that we mock each other immensely and I’m sure my dad is expecting a post with nothing but me making fun of his old balls or something along those lines, but instead, I want to take this time to thank him for being such a great dad!
So, who is my dad? Well first off, his name is Thane. Obviously, he’s 50 (ha, ha, ha!). He’s a great father. A supportive husband. Giving to his family. Smart. Funny. Sarcastic. An athlete (softball player, golfer, hockey player). People say I look like him, so he’s obviously handsome and sexy as hell. And no matter what I’ve done in my life, he’s always supported me… Well most of the time. (How can you support sliding off the roof of your garage on a sled with only an inch of snow on the ground?)
My dad is a great man and I love him a lot! I want to take this time to wish him a VERY happy birthday and to make sure he knows that I wouldn’t be the man I am today without him!
