Highway 102 is reopened

Halifax District Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) confirm Highway 102 is currently reopened after being briefly closed down due to slippery road conditions.

The RCMP would like to remind the motoring public to slow down due to slippery road conditions as police are currently responding to numerous motor vehicle accidents throughout the HRM.

The Halifax District RCMP would also like to remind the motoring public to adjust their driving habits due to the slippery road conditions. In order to safely arrive at your destination, please slow down, allow extra time to reach your destination and allow extra stopping distance between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you.

The Halifax District RCMP remind all motorist that road safety is everyone’s responsibility.
