HRP investigate armed home invasion

At approximately 8:16AM this morning a resident from the 100 block of Windmill Road in Dartmouth was returning to his home after walking his dog.  He entered his house and proceed up the stairs where he was confronted by a male who pointed a handgun at him.  The homeowner then ran out of the house and began yelling for someone to call police.  He looked ba­ck to see three susp­ects run from his ho­use to an awaiting vehicle and flee the area.  No one was in­jured during the inc­ident.  The suspect vehicle is described as a dark colored SUV with a silver gri­ll.  It was last obs­erved going in rever­se up Brookside Aven­ue then turn down Ja­mieson Street.  The suspects description are three black male­s, all around six fe­et in height, skinny wearing dark sweatp­ants and hoodies.  The suspect with the firearm was wearing a white base ball hat and the other two were wearing dark to­ques.  No arrests ha­ve been made at the time of this report.  The investigation is being handled by the integrated Gener­al Investigative Sec­tion.  This was not believed to be a ran­dom act.
