HRP investigate two weapon related incidents in Dartmouth

Armed robbery

At 7:40pm police responded to an armed robbery at 245 Waverly Road. A man wearing a dark hoodie and blue jeans entered and produced a knife, demanding the money from the clerk. The male left with an undisclosed amount of cash. The man is described as a tall white male wearing a dark hoodie and blue jeans. The matter is currently being investigated by members of the Criminal Investigations Section.

At 8:15 pm police went to an apartment building in the 0-100 block of Highfield Park Drive to the report of a man armed with a knife. Officers attended and the 21 year old man was arrested without incident. The man will be facing a charge of criminal mischief and will be making a future court appearance.
