Inverness County District RCMP investigate sudden death of cyclist, Waycobah First Nation, N.S.

Inverness County District RCMP are investigating the sudden death of a 34-year- Waycobah First Nations man.

At approximately 11:50 p.m., RCMP, Waycobah First Nation First Responders and Emergency Health Services responded to a report of a bicycle crash involving a lone rider on Reservation Road on Waycobah First Nation. The preliminary investigation determined the rider lost control of his bicycle and then fell landing on the pavement. He was not wearing a bicycle helmet at the time.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
