Update: The 15-year-old youth who was reported missing from Coldbrook on January 7​ has been located and is safe.

Kings District RCMP is asking for assistance from the public to locate 15-year-old Mia Cook.

Cook​ was last seen at​ 12:40 p.m. on​ January 5. She was wearing a black jacket with fur on the hood and black​ leggings. Cook is described as African Canadian, 5-foot-8 and 134 pounds.​ She has brown eyes and black hair.​ ​

Police are concerned about Cook’s well-being​ and are asking​ anyone with information to contact Kings District RCMP at (902)​ 679-5555.
