Common name: Spare 10,000 mAh Power Bank

Product description: This recall involves the Spare 10,000 mAh Power Bank. The brand of the product is Leedsworld, Inc. The product is battery-powered and white in colour. The product item number is 7121-18WH and the recall currently includes products with lot number, PO:1813582.The item number and lot number are displayed on the back of the power bank. The power bank was available as a promotional item and may or may not be decorated with artwork or various company logos.

Hazard identified: A defect in the short circuit protection of the power bank may cause it to overheat, posing a burn and fire hazard.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact the place of purchase for a refund.
The recalled product should be disposed of in accordance with local requirements for the disposal of lithium batteries. Consumers may contact Leedsworld, Inc. at 1-800-860-1555, Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m to 9:00 p.m. EST, or by email. Consumers may view the release by the US CPSC on the Commission’s website.
