Meetings with lobster harvesters in Digby and Advocate that were postponed due to bad weather have been rescheduled.
The stakeholder meetings will take place:
Thursday, Feb. 5
— Digby Fire Hall, 163 First Ave., Digby, 1 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 6
— Advocate Fire Hall, 4176 Highway 209, Advocate Harbour, 1 p.m.
The meeting scheduled to take place at the Claymore Inn in Antigonish on Wednesday, Feb. 18, has been moved to the Museum of Industry, 147 Foord St., Stellarton, at 10 a.m.
These discussions are an opportunity for members of the lobster fishing industry to share their views on a proposed two-cent fee, talk about what the money could be used for, and how the fund could be collected and administered.
