Backoos, who already had a Korean takeout on Birmingham Street, has opened another on the Bedford Hwy, where Munchies used to be at the bottom of Flamingo.

A new coffee shop is going in where the Starbucks on Bedford Highway used to be, not 100% sure who it’s going to be, but I believe it may be St. John’s Jumping Bean.

Last Weekend I got a chance to drive up the Eastern Shore and visit Uprooted Market & Cafe, The Henley House Pub and drink some Sober Island Beer. Also visited the delightfully dated Sobeys in Head of Jeddore complete with the old coloured logo.
