Robbery at Walmart store

Halifax Regional Police are investigating a robbery that occurred earlier this week in Halifax.

On September 27 at approximately 9:15 p.m. officers responded to a robbery at the Walmart at 220 Chain Lake Drive.  A man entered the store, stole merchandise and assaulted an employee when they approached him. He then fled area on foot with a woman who had been with him during the incident. The employee did not require treatment for their injuries.

The suspect is described as white, in his thirties, approximately 6’1” tall, 180 lbs. with brown hair. He was wearing a grey and black sweatshirt with Calvin Klein written on the front, black sweatpants with Calvin Klein written on the left leg, a burgundy baseball cap, a blue face mask and tan boots.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information about the incident or video from the area to call 902-490-5020.
