New peak-hour left turn restriction – Connaught Avenue

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that a peak-hour left turn restriction will be implemented on Connaught Avenue beginning Friday, Sept. 20.

Drivers will be restricted from turning left from Connaught Avenue onto Almon Street, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The layout of this intersection is slightly different than typical four-legged signalized intersections. The introduction of this restriction will help to improve safety.
