Nut4Ribs

Summer means a lot of things to a lot of people but I think it’s a safe bet that BBQ is on the list for most of us. What better way to spend your day than on the waterfront eating a plate of ribs (or a healthy dose of biscuits, coleslaw, and boiled corn if you’re a vegetarian)? Well, Nuts4Ribs can do you even better because while you’re enjoying your meal, you get the satisfaction of knowing your money just went to a great cause.

Taylor Guitars has donated one of their beautiful instruments for silent auction which will be signed by Dave Carroll himself!

Dave Carroll will sign this beautiful instrument that was donated by Taylor Guitars for silent auction!

Plus, there’s more entertainment than ever this year including: a rib-eating contest, regatta, and the traditional Cojones cook-off. And that’s not all. Check out some of the musical acts lined up this year: Mitch MacDonald, Garrett Mason, and The Sons of Maxwell whose follow-up song to United Breaks Guitars was just released this week.

For a chance to buy a piece of the United Breaks Guitars phenomenon, Taylor Guitars has donated one!

So it looks like food is the theme of this and next week. I guess that means I’ll post a restaurant review here on Friday. In other food related news, if you’re in Nova Scotia check out the Incredible Picnic taking place across the province. It sounds like so much fun a number of Twitter followers are having a #TweetSup at the event. E-mail kimberly.aliasgrace [at] gmail [dot] com or DM me on Twitter.
