Person of interest sought after man hit, thrown to the ground in restaurant

Kings District RCMP is seeking assistance to identify a person of interest in relation to an incident that occurred at a restaurant on Main St. in Wolfville on March 6, 2022.

At approximately 5:45 p.m. RCMP responded to a report of an altercation between two men. Officers learned that two men had been involved in a verbal argument that led to a physical altercation. Police believe that a man in his 30s or 40s approached a second man hitting him several times and then throwing him to the ground. The man then left through the back door onto Front St.

The person of interest is described as a white man in his 30s with short light-brown hair. He was wearing a dark gray long sleeved shirt with denim jeans.
