At 10:20 AM HRP officers attended a vehicle  / pedestrian motor vehicle accident that occurred in a parking lot adjacent to 94 Gaston Rd in Dartmouth. 

The victim, a 56 year old woman, was out of her vehicle examining some unrelated damage to her car (near the driver’s side rear quarter panel) when she was struck by a 53 year old female driver who was backing from a nearby parking space.  This resulted in the victim being temporarily pinned between the cars and resulted in serious but non-life threatening injury. The victim was taken to the QEII Hospital and remains in hospital at this time. This matter remains under investigation and charges have not been laid at this point.
