Police look to speak with driver in vehicle/cyclist collision

Halifax Regional Police are looking to speak with the cyclist involved in a motor vehicle/cyclist collision that occurred earlier this month in Halifax.

On November 01 at approximately 3:45 p.m. police responded to a report of a collision between a vehicle and a cyclist in the intersection of Preston St / Pepperell St in Halifax. ​ The vehicle was headed southbound on Preston Street when it was struck by a cyclist traveling westbound on Pepperell Street.​ The cyclist is described as a Caucasian male approx 6’1″, in his 20s, wearing a black long sleeve shirt, black pants, white bicycle helmet, and white sneakers and may go by the name Alex.​

The cyclist did not remain at the scene after the collision and police are looking to speak with him.

Police are asking the driver or anyone with information on the incident to call 902-490-5016. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip atwww.crimestoppers.ns.ca or by using the P3 Tips app.
