Police request public’s assistance – motor vehicle hit and run

Halifax Regional Police is requesting the public’s assistance to identify the driver involved in a motor vehicle collision that occurred last month in Halifax.

At approximately 8:20 p.m. on February 12, police responded to a motor vehicle collision involving multiple vehicles at the intersection of Brunswick Street and Carmichael Street. The vehicle believed to have caused the collision did not stop at the scene.

The vehicle is described as a dark coloured pick-up truck with an extended cab, running boards and lumber in the back. There is no description of the driver.

Police are asking the driver or anyone who has information about this incident to call police at 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or by using the P3 Tips app.
