Product: “They’re Real” Mascara by Benefit
What’s is more sexy than a set a full lashes? Well I’m sure I could think of a few, but I think we should keep things PG! So back to the mascara… Benefit’s “They’re Real” mascara adds some major drama to your lashes, and won’t smudge or dry out, so your lashes will stay intact no matter where the night takes you.

Place: Moonlit Strolls After Dinner

Product: Eos Lip Balm

Don’t get caught with chapped lips! Always keep one of these adorable lip balms on hand, so you are always pucker ready! Honestly I never leave my house without one, and if I do I usually end up purchasing another one at the drug store. The clever egg shaped design of Eos lip balms makes them super easy to find in your purse and/or bag, and for someone like me who likes to tote a lot of stuff around this is major win. I REALLY love the Acai flavor (the blue one), and I think I am not alone in this because it one seems SO hard to find! But it’s hands down my favorite.

Product: CK Downtown

Did you know that scent is the strongest thing known to memory? And so what you choose to dose yourself in before you head out the door could dramatically affect how people perceive you. If you think about it, the first thing you do when you meet up with your friends is give them a big giant hug (well I know that’s what I do). Whether they like it or not, the first things your friends are being greeted by is your scent. Sophisticated and extremely feminine this scent from Calvin Klein  has a confident edge that sets it apart from the rest. This super girlie fragrance is the perfect go-to for all your downtown adventures. Doll yourself up to the nines and sport this scent while enjoying some Saturday night martini’s with your gal pals, and you’ll be plenty prepared to catch up on all the drama!

Place: Sunday Night Couch Potato Sesh w/ Netflix

Product: Crest Whitestrips Advanced Seal #4

You see ads for these things all the time, but you probably think to yourself do they really work? They can seem a little expensive to shell out ovr 60$ for something you’re not even sure works, but I can attest to the fact that the “Advanced Seal” Whitestrips definitely worked for me! I’ve tried others before and I even tried Crest’s “sensitive” kind before and they didn’t do anything for my teeth. If you leave them on too long you will experience sensitivity; when they say 20 minutes they mean it. I coupled my whitening treatments with senstiive toothpaste as well just to be on the safe side. Also be sure not to brush your teeth either before or after using the strips this will also increase sensitivity (especially with your gums). I found using them at night while I watched television was the best time to use them; I’ve already had dinner, and bedtime is still far enough away that brushing them before bed won’t irritate my gums.

What I really liked about this product is that the “advanced seal” really gripped to my teeth to form a tight fit which prevented them from slipping around in my mouth while I was wearing them. I hardly noticed I was wearing the whitening strips, and I could even carry on a conversation, and you would never know (no slurred speech). I’m not sure if this makes sense, but because they are such a good fit I feel like this technology is probably conducive to actually lifting stains from your teeth. You literally have to peel the strips off your teeth and to me this is great. In any case it’s a lot cheaper than getting em done by a pro, and you can whiten your teeth while you watch TV! Might I suggest you watch House of Cards? It’s a great show.

Place: As you head into the work week

Product: Ascenta Skin Soft Gel Formula
So we all know Mondays are the worst, but to help get you prepared for the week ahead might I suggest a good dose of omega 3 supplements. It’s no secret I am a fan of Omega 3’s! Omega 3’s are SO good for you: both for your nervous system, your cardiovascular system, but also for your hair and skin! Which is why I’m really excited about this new product from Ascenta Skin.

Those of you who are familiar with their liquid supplement will love their new soft gel formula that is coming out very soon. The Ascenta Skin Gel Caps encompass everything you already love about the liquid Ascenta Skin product (Full review here) with the convenience of taking the powerhouse supplement on the go while ALSO allowing you to spread its healthy goodness throughout the entire day. The label suggests taking 4 soft gels a day, so I find it easiest to take them with my meals and then take an additional one before bed. It’s great to take omega 3s before bed not only because they help you sleep (hello natural Valium), but also because while you are in lala land your body is already in repair mode, and adding omega 3s into the mix only accelerates these process!

So these are my go-to products to get me through the weekend; what are yours blog reader? I’d love to hear what you are using; please comment below or tweet me @shortpresents I’m always on the hunt for great new products!

Sincerely,
