RCMP investigate fatal crash, Kings County, N.S.

RCMP are on the scene of a fatal motor vehicle crash in Cambridge Station. At 4:41 p.m., RCMP responded to a single vehicle crash on Cambridge Road. A vehicle had left the roadway and struck a large tree.

At 4:41 p.m., RCMP responded to a single vehicle crash on Cambridge Road. A vehicle had left the roadway and struck a large tree.

As a result of the crash, the male driver died at the scene. A male passenger had to be extricated out of the car by emergency personnel and has been transported by EHS LifeFlight to hospital in Halifax.

A RCMP traffic analyst has been called in to assist the investigators. Police are advising that this portion of the road will be closed until further notice. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
