RCMP investigate motor vehicle collision, Lower Sackville, N.S.

RCMP are investigating a motor vehicle collision with a pedestrian in Sackville.

This afternoon at 12:38 p.m., Lower Sackville RCMP received a complaint of a motor vehicle collision on Sackville Drive at Connolly Road.

The incident occurred at 8:40 a.m., when a 14-year-old female in the crosswalk was struck by a vehicle turning left onto Sackville Drive. She was transported to the hospital by family with non life-threatening minor injuries. The 48-year-old female driver of the SUV is cooperating with police.

The matter remains under investigation.
