Police lay charges in Break and Enter

On July 22,2010 at 4:00 pm east patrol members responded to a report of suspicious youths walking in the area of the 500 block of Pleasant Street in Dartmouth.  The youths were said to be carrying a flat screen T.V.  During the course of the investigation officers noticed a break and enter into a nearby residence.  As a result 3 individuals are facing criminal charges.
An 18 yr old male was charged with Break and enter and possession of stolen property, a 15 yr old female was charged with break and enter and misleading Police and another 15 yr old female was charged with break and enter.  All were released from custody and will appear in court at a later date.

Police lay Drug charges

On July 22,2010 at 8:30 pm East Quick Response Members observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of the 200 block of Pleasant St, Dartmouth.  A traffic stop was completed on this vehicle and as a result a 19 yr old and a 21 yr old male were charged with Possession of Cocaine.  Both were released from custody and will appear in court at a later date.

 

Jarvis Lane Shooting

Victim Dies/Shooting Declared a Homicide

The victim in last night’s shooting has passed away and police are
investigating this matter as a homicide.

At 10:50 p.m. police responded to the 100 block of Jarvis Lane where a
21-year-old man was found suffering from a single wound to his chest. He
was transported to hospital and passed away this morning as a result of
his injuries.

The HRP/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit is urging anyone with
