Traffic Delays – Orthodox Palm Sunday & Good Friday Procession

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that there may be some minor traffic delays in west-end Halifax this Sunday, April 21 and next Friday, April 26.

The events will begin at 11:45 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. respectively outside 2480 Windsor Street. The procession will turn right on Chebucto Street, then right on St. Matthias Street to enter the church parking lot.

Halifax Regional Police will be on hand to assist with traffic control during the event. Motorists should expect some minor traffic delays during these events and are advised to find other routes, if possible. The municipality thanks you for your cooperation.
