Police conducted two searches of residences in Halifax and Dartmouth this morning.

At approximately 4:40 a.m. investigators from the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division along with members from the HRP and RCMP Emergency Response Teams searched two residences. One on Mandaville Court in Halifax and a second on Holtwood Court in Dartmouth.

Three people were arrested, and investigators seized drugs and firearms. Two people have been charged with drug trafficking and will appear in court at a later date. The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges are anticipated.

Officers are no longer on scene and we thank the public for their cooperation.
